Berea College is a small liberal arts work college in Berea, Kentucky.  Students work 10–15 hours per week in exchange for free tuition. Most students are from the Appalachian region of the U.S. 


Affordability: Berea has an exceptionally low overall net price ($3,354). No student pays tuition. Most students graduate with little or no debt (6% of freshman borrowed an average of $2,303 in 2020-21, NCES). The average household income of Berea students is under $30,000.
