College of the Ozarks (nicknamed "Hard Work U.) is a small, Evangelical Christian, liberal arts college in Missouri. The school's mission is to provide Christian education, especially to those who can't pay for it. Students work 15 hours per week in exchange for free tuition.


Affordability: Because of their work program and donor-funded scholarships, College of the Ozarks has a low average net price ($12,611). Most students graduate with little or no debt (0% of freshman took out loans in 2020-21, NCES).
