Davidson College is a highly-ranked liberal arts college in North Carolina. According to their website, Davidson provides a "distinctively supportive community, where peers and mentors act with integrity and practice academic rigor." 

Affordability: Davidson meets 100% of demonstrated need without student loans. Theoretically, then, Davidson is affordable for any student admitted. Davidson also offers some merit aid, which means that even some higher-income students might pay less than sticker price. According to NCES data, most students do not take out loans (11% of freshman borrowed an average of $10,684 In 2020-21).
