Emory University is a highly-ranked research university in Atlanta, Georgia. Its two top programs are business and nursing. Note that Emory has more graduate students than undergraduates.


Affordability: Emory promises to meet 100% of demonstrated need without loans. Beginning 2022-23, Emory expanded their no-loan program to apply to all students receiving need-based aid. According to NCES data, 22% of freshman borrowed an average of $8,368 in 2020-21 (these numbers should improve beginning with 2022-23 data).
