Georgetown University is a Catholic and Jesuit research university in Washington, D.C. Georgetown promotes "intellectual rigor," "social justice," and "self-reflection." Note that Georgetown has more graduate students than undergraduates.
Affordability: Georgetown has a relatively low net price ($23,049) and meets 100% of demonstrated financial need through grants/scholarships, loans, and work-study. They do not offer merit-based aid. Most students do not take out student loans; according to NCES data, 22% of freshman borrowed an average of $7,863 in 2020-21.
