Harvard University is an elite Ivy League research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Harvard is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the United States. Note that Harvard has far more graduate students than undergraduates.
Affordability: Harvard meets 100% of demonstrated need without student loans. Their need aid is among the best in the U.S. However, they do not offer merit aid. Higher income students will pay full price, which is high. Still, most students do not take out loans (According to NCES data, 4% of freshman borrowed an average of $8,799 in 2020-21).
